Dr. Georgios Grigoriadis is an obstetrician-gynaecologist and minimally invasive gynaecological surgeon based in Thessaloniki, with a particular focus on endometriosis. He holds MRCOG and UK CCT qualifications and leads EndometriosisNet, a specialist multidisciplinary service bringing together gynaecological surgery, imaging, colorectal and urological surgery, pain care, physiotherapy, nutrition and psychological support.
His professional experience has included work in the United Kingdom and at the Franco-European Multidisciplinary Endometriosis Institute (IFEMEndo) in Bordeaux. He is also academically affiliated with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has published widely on the diagnosis and surgical management of endometriosis.
A significant part of his research sits at the intersection of endometriosis surgery and fertility. His publications have examined spontaneous conception after deep endometriosis surgery, fertility outcomes after laparoscopic treatment of minimal and mild disease, ovarian endometrioma surgery, and the role of specialised ultrasound in diagnosing deep endometriosis.
In 2025, Dr. Grigoriadis was lead author of a detailed review of serum Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) and endometriosis surgery, examining how endometriomas and their surgical treatment can affect ovarian reserve. This work is particularly relevant to the difficult clinical decisions around whether and when to operate on ovarian endometriomas in women who wish to preserve future fertility.
At the Summit, Dr. Grigoriadis will speak on “The Impact of Endometriosis and Endometrioma Surgery on AMH and Ovarian Reserve.”
